I grew up with Bosco, so imagine my surpise to find this recipe. I was a bit skeptical it didnt seem to have much to it. Last weekend I gave it a try and it worked, amazing the kids loved it.. super chocolate taste and very moist.

It is a must have during the cold winter months and the hosue smelled wonderful from the baking cake.

I sure wish it wasn’t so expensive to get Bosco shipped. I am going to try the cake recipe using Hershey’s syrup.

Hi Ted, If you have Cost Plus World Market or Big Lots near you, you can buy Bosco at the store without any shipping. Also try some of the vendors on Amazon or at . Shipping might be more reasonable there. We pass through our shipping costs — as a small company, it’s expensive for us to ship liquids in small quantities. Hope you’re able to try the cake with Bosco syrup soon! :)

Big Lots has it, you say? I’ll have to run over there and check it out.

  • Mike

    Big Lots has it OCCASIONALLY.

This sounds truly amazing! Can’t wait to try it out for myself! What size pan should be used?

    • Bosco Products

A rectangular pan that is roughly 13″ x 9″ would work great. Let us know how it comes out!

One (and only one) of our local Publix stores carries it. But you can always ask your grocer to do a special order.

Hey Ted. You can never replace Bosco with Hersheys!
